2010 Awards
The Schindler Lifts Strata Industry Awards for Excellence are designed to recognise and reward those individuals and companies who make a significant contribution to the Strata Industry.
Each and every organisation within the Strata sector is unique but all are striving to reach the same goal, namely excellence.
Excellence is a journey and not a destination. To help businesses in their journeys the Schindler Lifts Strata Industry Awards for Excellence provides a new means of measuring and benchmarking against others within the industry.
The awards aim to:
- Encourage ISTM members to strive for continuous improvement in internal business processes and performance and effectively using resources and capability
- Identify those organisations with strong and ethical organisational values and principles which are applied consistently throughout the organisation
- Encourage forward thinking and strategies which embrace the future and the changing external environment of the organisation
- Reward organisations that foster leadership and growth for all employees. This will be evident through the strong values and fostering of new leaders
Awards
Small Business of the Year - designed to encourage and recognise the contribution that small businesses make to the Strata Industry.
Large Business of the Year - designed to encourage and recognise the contribution that large businesses make to the Strata Industry. Sponsored by Bankwest
Excellence in Customer Service - awarded to the business that exhibits consistent and proven professionalism and a high level of customer service to all stakeholders.
Commitment to Professional Ethics - awarded to the organisation displaying outstanding commitment to the development of a culture of high ethical standards and business processes to ensure a high level of ethical standard is maintained. Sponsored by Strata Plus
Business Person of the Year - awarded to one individual who successfully displays excellence in leadership and management.
Young Business Person of the Year - awarded to the one individual who successfully displays excellence and commitment to personal and career development with significant achievements in both areas. Sponsored by BPS Strata Maintenance
Applications for the Awards are now open. To nominate follow the steps below:
1. Download a copy of the Awards Application Handbook. This document will provide you with all the information you need on the Awards process, key dates and information on each individual Award so you can ascertain which Awards would suit you.
2. Download a copy of the Awards Application Form. One application form needs to be completed for each entity or individual nominating. If you are nominating for multiple Awards you only need to complete one application form and tick the relevant Awards you are applying for.
3. Download the Nomination forms for the Awards you wish to nominate for.
