New Registration Qualifications for Strata

The Property Stock and Business Agents Act (2002) was ammended in 2009 to introduce new educational requirements for registration as a Strata Managing Agent.

Licensed Strata Managing Agents

Qualifications for a Strata Managing Agent's license are successful completion of CPP40609 Certificate IV in Property Services (Operations). The course contains the following units of competency:

Applications for a licence for people who have completed NSW 9674 Certificate IV in Property (Strata Management) will be accepted up to 2011.

Qualifications for Registration as a Strata Manager or Community Manager

The qualifications required for registration as a registered Strata Manager or registered Community Manager are three units of competency from the Certificate III Property Services (Operations).
